The Power of High Resolution to Accurately Identification of Emerging Contaminants
Presenters: Eleazar Rojas Santiago, Applications Scientist, Agilent
Moderator: Citlalli Dominguez, Product Specialist, Agilent
This event will be presented in Spanish.
Today’s environmental analysis must be done more reliably, more efficiently, and with higher-quality results than ever before. Unfortunately, pharmaceuticals, PFAS, pesticides, and other potentially toxic compounds can be difficult to detect in the environment and in biological matrices.
To complicate the scenario, several thousand chemicals present in the environment are currently unknown and unidentified. Many of these chemicals could be toxic, but they are not regulated in the environment, due to the absence of toxicological data. In this talk we will explore the different tools that Agilent puts at your fingertips using high resolution mass spectrometry, as well as, in data processing programs to overcome the great challenges presented by this type of analysis.
